Join us on this guided hike to Sermermiut and experience nature, culture and history like never before.
Our local guides have a thorough knowledge of this astonishing area, which in 2004 was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is no surprise that the area is one of the most popular attractions in the country and you will quickly understand why this is a must-see when visiting Greenland.
The walking tour starts from the old heliport. We walk ‘The World Heritage Trail’ through the former settlement of Sermermiut and end up at the mouth of the Icefjord, from where you will have a perfect view of the gigantic icebergs. It is a relatively easy-going and well-paved route, meaning anyone and everyone can participate.
Please note there is a minimum of four persons required for the activity to go ahead.
